Backed the caravan in the other day then parked the 2008 D40 Auto Navara and must have left the 4WD switch in Low Range.
The wife took the car shopping today and did about 60km onthe tar inlow range.
Can anyone please explain what and if any damage has/may have occurred.

Drove the car myself today and all seems OK. Put it out of 4WD, then back in to high and low and the light indicated 4 wheels.

The wife said she didnt notice the green 4WD light flashing but...

Cheers Danny

There are really only two things that will happen - the transfer chain will stretch a bit and the tyres will wear prematurely.

If you don't hear a rattling sound coming from underneath, your transfer chain is a fine.

I'd say four things could happen. A CV could break, or the front diff itself. Generally the CV's and front diff are the weak links.
