New Steering bump stops at 17000 kms

Hi fellas as the title suggests i know it is a common problem in the d22 but i thought at 17000 kms it would be a bit early for me to be replacing anything at all not to mention nissan saying it is a wear and tear part so its not covered under warranty?? So just wondering when has anyone else had to get these replaced? and is it worth me going higher up to see if i can these replaced under warranty or am i trying to blood out of a stone.

I put mine on 5000km ago and there already knackered. Serves me right though because I never put grease on with them. You can get them in a set of 4 off EBay for a pretty good price.

Just lube them
Mate with bearing grease. No need to replace them
