New to Nissan here, just probably paid too much for an old work truck with a couple of issues !!
Bought it thinking it needed an alternator .. BUT the fuel water warning light is also on, and only 1.7v to the wire that controls the alternator to start charging ... Anyway, I reckon a post in the D22 electrical section is likely
220k Kms, and drives pretty well . Spanish truck, ,so no chassis corrosion just some paintwork issues (she ain't pretty) , and the tub is rotting out from water under plastic liner ... I'm used to UK cars , so anything without terminal chassis rot looks too good to be true !!
So far , I liked it on the test drive, but yet to use it in earnest. Previous truck was a 2003 L200 , . hopefully can get the D22 sorted before the end of the month!
Forum looks great, here's what I expect to be working on so far:
Charging system / warning lights fault
2 x front CV joint boots
Full service (all fluids)
Rust protection / paint (general)
Pickup tub, light restoration / bed liner (epoxy?)
