lurking for a while as desiding on vw amorok or stx 550 well the 550 won had a drive of all the others the bt 50 and ranger while nice to drive at speed felt truck like around town noisey rough sounding and the mazda very harsh slow speed stuff the missus will be driving a lot and wanted a cx5 but no way the coldrado engine noise, the triton i had the early 3.2 and would not clkass it with the 550 or the vw. the heart wanted the vw as im into old school beetles and kombis 
but after having a t5 transporter and the issues with that could not go there again. plus my mate has the 550 and allways cant believe how non diesel they sound in side so happy wife happy life now to start on the mods underbody first then windbooster orsprint booster to get rid of the lag from idle. then catch can , and seat covers then all the rest
