Hi I am new here and still trying to find my way around site. Since rebuilding my Nissan head I have had an issue with flat battery's. I at first thought alternator issue but have fitted a new one. I have no battery light on dash? Even when I first turn on ignition. Can't find any fuses for this any ideas.

How are the fusible links on the positive terminal of the battery? Small manipulation of these may reveal a crack (mine cracked, and it was near impossible to see).
