overheating when towing

Oil plays a major part in cooling, you sure there is enough oil in it ?

The shroud is still on the radiator ?

Whats the water pump like ?

according to dealer radiator was partly blocked not allowing enough flow . only became a problem when towing due tu extra load

Just my 20c worth about the comments with coolant guages not moving,I got a 04 D22 and I tow a camper trailer,my engine shat itself and had to rebuild it but when I did that I also fitted boost,egt and a proper coolant temp guage and I tell ya what! when she works the temps do go up but the factory guage does not move one bit,you might not see it but in actual fact the proper guage's show what's really happening under your bonnet.
