patrol engine in nav

Hey guys ive recently blown the engine in my nav so im now looking at my options and was wondering if a 4.2 trol engine would fit in my nav

the TD42 would be tight as its longer and weight might be an issue to.

what engine are you replacing?

I don't think so, ScottyBobcat had a lot of trouble fitting in a decent sized radiator and fans with his V8 conversion, the length of the 6cyl would be a killer.

for something different why not check out a FD42 ? comes in the atlas trucks. 4cyl, there is a turbo version, no idea on power. weight may still be an issue, not idea on height.

ive measured it... it should fit...just be very tight.. might need to put the radiator in the rear. give me another 12 months and ill tell you how hard it was to do haha

our cabstars (your atlas) run a bd3.0 diesel motor dont know how reliable or avalable it is to you guys

So its been decided the navs gunna get a 3.8 commy motor in it will keep u posted

Sounds good, a couple of mates have put the 3.8 into their hiluxs. Just a thought, but why not go another ZD30?
