To the guys who have replaced there rear diffs with the bigger Qd32 version I've been reading that you need to replace the drive shaft with a Qd32 one also is this nessesary and for what reason

ZD30/YD2.5 VS qd3.2 has a completely different design shaft.
QD diff flange is larger (on the tailshaft)
the zd/yd ones have to have the yoke removed before you can swap flange? different design.
we just swaped shaft as it looked liek they were different lengths anyway.
i dont think i took any photos, sorry.
but yeah, shafts and stuff.

The diff I've got the diff flange and the tail shaft yoke bolt straight up but the tail shaft feels like it's to long
