Rear Canopy

Hi there.
I want to clean the rear window on my navara but the canopy is sitting right up to it.
The only way I can get to it is to undo the canopy over the rear bed and slide it back.
A couple of the bolts holding it into the rear bed have rusted and just spin round. I’ve had a look from underneath the lip of the rear bed but there is no nut and I can’t work out what is spinning round. There must be some sort of threaded nut though. If I cut off the rusted nut head has anyone got any ideas where the nut is?

The variety of canopies (and possibility of previous "repairs" to it) make it really difficult to answer this one.

The best advice I could give: cut off the head of the bolt so that you can get the thing off. You already know it the bolts need replacing, it only remains to work out what bits you need and taking it off is the only guaranteed way you'll know.
