If your property has been affected by flooding this is very important information for you.

I have written this in consultation with ENERGEX for SE QLD customers, however most supply authorities will work in a similar way, whether you're in QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, SA etc.

Please post this on your facebook page or any other forums which you think where this information may be of assistance to someone.

No problems, there seems to be a lot of confusion out there regarding this topic, and also a lot of people are pre-occupied with simply making their homes semi-habitable so haven't even thought of electricity yet. I should stress that time really is of the essence here, if people can have an electrical contractor on site within the next day or two to repair, test and certify their properties it will mean that ENERGEX crews are able to connect their supply along with all of the unaffected properties in the first round of visits. Otherwise, it could be weeks until they get a chance to make a second visit.
