Roof lights wiring

has anybody found a good way to get wires to roof, not rollbar but i have a basket and i have 4x spoties to put on it...
i was thinking drilling a hole in the rood and using a grommet and silicon,
my other idea was to run it under drivers seat under car up between cab and tray then to back part of roof rack..

any body else come accross this??

I have run mine between the cab and tub and along the basket.

deffently go under,there will be a hole already in the firwall you can hijack then just zip tie ontop of chassie and lead it behind the cab and up like you said,thats how all mine is wired up.i would avoid drilling into the roof unless absoltley necesery

I drilled a hole through the roof into the "foot" of the roof rack, then exactly what you said, grommet & plenty sikaflex.

Watch out for curtain airbags if you have them
