slight rough idle and a small hesitation

hi guys
2008 d40 diesel 128k
has a slightly rough idle on start up when cold and the has a small heaitation when revimg engine to 1000rpm
not sure
glow plugs
injectors

Hey mate.

I'd give the liquimoly diesel purge a go. There are a couple of threads on it. You just disconnect the fuel lines at the rail and run it though. Did it to mine recently as I was having cold start stalling issues. I wad sitting at a set of traffic lights this morning and had to actually look at the tacho to make sure it was still running the idle was that smooth. For the 20 bucks or whatever the can cost it made a hell of a difference. Mine is a 2010 d22 with just over 60k on. I've had it since new and an injector clean had never been done. Will definitely be doing that on a semi regular basis now though.

like bods said, go with a diesel purge. then clean ur maf sensor and do an ecu reset and see how it goes. is it serviced regularly.
