Snorkel for my nav

Hi my name is Gavin and I'm new to this site I found it by trawling the web for info on my nav been reading it for a few days now and thought why not sign up it looks like a pretty good site to get info on how I can improve a great 4x4 , I'm on a limited budget for ant mods ( what I can con out of the wife ) . Anyway I have 2 questions . 1st is I have been offered a genuine snorkel for my 98 d22 and I'm told it fits a 3 ltr I thought 08 strs were all 2.5 if so will it fit and 2nd it rides like a pig ( std shockers ) will I get a better ride if I just upgrade to a better shock at the moment .

I cant help you with the snorkel issue but i can tell you that upgrading shocks will give you a better ride.

Thanks for the reply I will just have to take a punt and get snorkel if it doesn't fit I can always sell it . Any ideas on the best shocks for a softer ride
