Strange noise

Hi guys,
looked at a 04 D22 STR 3L to day.
drove well except for a loud almost metalic sound when you were on full lock and hit a bump. The owner was quite open about it and claimed that all D22's made this noise. Which i'm not to sure about. Does anyone else experiance this sound or if not is it anything to worry about.

This happened to me too in the first couple of weeks owning my Nav, to say the least i was unimpressed.

You have nothing to worry about as it is just the steering stops rubbing together on full lock or almost full lock over a bump, a common problem with just about any D22. Not much you can do to fix it without replacing the nylon caps they are supposed to have, i find a quick swipe of grease quietens them down but it never lasts for long.

Rest assured there is nothing majorly wrong.
