Super Multiple Junction location

Hey guys,

As the title states, i'm trying to locate the SMJ so i can check the connections. having some indeterminate electrical problems. I've looked through the workshop manual a few times but cant find where it is. (that workshop manual is one frustrating pdf to work!)

i had a look around the ute and found one rather large connector that's kinda behind the fuse box. Is this the SMJ and if so how the hell do you get to it?

I've got a 2004, ZD30, dual cab FYI.

So has anyone taken theirs apart? Do you have to remove the fuse box or is there some neat little trick?
