It's been a long time coming but with new car sales figures rising I guess Nissan had to start fairing a little better. Figures for March 2010 show Nissan in 6th
Top Ten New Vehicle Sales by Marque
# Toyota - 20,306 sales
# Holden - 11,795 sales
# Ford - 8,092 sales
# Hyundai - 7,797 sales
# Mazda - 7,453 sales
# Nissan - 6,558 sales
# Mitsubishi - 5,556 sales
# Honda - 4,153 sales
# Subaru - 3,679 sales
# Volkswagen - 3,034 sales
While it's a bit of a suprise to see given that it hasn't happened for a while it's good to see the Nav's are slowly making their way up the top ten models list too.
Top selling cars for March 2010
1. Holden Commodore 4209
2. Toyota HiLux 3935
3. Hyundai i30 3678
4. Mazda3 3562
5. Toyota Corolla 3555
6. Ford Falcon 2496
7. Mitsubishi Lancer 2245
8. Nissan Navara 2154
9. Holden Cruze 2125
10. Toyota Yaris 2114
Still got a long way to go to beat the Hilux despite the huge price difference but atleast they are in the top 10, and atleast Nav's sold more than Hummer did with a huge sales figure of 14 nation wilde.
