That is exactly what happened. I had a ball valve on the end of drain before. I think that I will get it put back in lieu of the non return valve.

We did tap into turbo return. do you see a problem with it being there if it's sealed off by a valve?

Just to round this all out, I got my vehicle back on Monday afternoon.

I was so glad to be out of that little old Hilux loaner. It got me around but???

All up, reconditioned head, reco turbo, timer and plumbing the catch can with a non return valve into the sump, $6770.

Two days later in the auto elec. getting an electronic flasher switch to work with the LED lights all round, I find both cranking and auxiliary battery's need replacing?!?!

Anyway, I now have a vehicle that goes like it did before, and will for a while to come with any luck.

Good to see you got it sorted in the end mate, not a nice thing to have to deal with. I really need to add an inter-cooler one day when finances allow.
