has anyone gone from a style side to a steel tray and did you go genuine?

yes and i dont think there is such thing as a genuine steel tray. anyways go to your local engineering joint and see what they can do. that way you can pick what head board /sides/whatever. mine was done by rydeweld townsville steel tray wood floor. looking at roughly 3500. or if you know a boiler maker get them to make you one there not hard. and you can do it for well under a grand
