Friday the 13th, not a day to get a lift kit installed......
Well I finally booked in for my 2" lift today, ended up going with the EFS Torsion Bars, EFS H/D Springs and the Rancho RS9000X Adjustable Shocks Front & Rear. Dropped off the ute this morning around 8.30am and was told not a big job around lunchtime should be right but we will call you. 3:30pm came around and nothing, so I called them up. They couldnt give me a timeframe for pickup as there was too many "variables" was told they would call me again. 4:45pm and nothing so figured they close at 5:00pm so I'll just go in there.
Ute was still up on the hoist with no front shocks in........an hour later was good to go, "oh but we havent had time to do a wheel alignment so you will need to get that done asap"
Got home started checking over it all as you do, noticed the rear leaf springs where basically flat like the originals that where in there, tried to look for a brand sticker or engraving etc. Found the model number on there so looked it up on the net, turns out they only installed the Medium Duty 150kg rated springs not the 300kg H/D's. Checking over the torsion bars noticed that one seems a lot lower than the other on the mounting/adjusting end of the bars. Measured from wheel arch/flare to ground 900mm drivers side then 915mm on passenger side........figured that ain't right either! Checked the 4 shocks, all set on different positions from 1-9. So guess what its going back to get it all fixed again!
I have had nothing but drama's taking my Nav anywhere and everywhere to get things done do it, I try to do as much as I can myself as I HATE others working on my car, you just dont know what they have done or what they havent done !!!
What measurements do everyone else's 2" lifted Navs have in the front?
Does anyone know the different settings/positions on the ranchos? 1-9 etc.
