Just wondering if anyone knows what would happen if I took the fuel pressure regulator banjo bolt out of the start of the return line from my vp44 on my zd30 and replaced it with a speedflow fitting and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I upped the return line 1 or 2 psi? in other words made the pump have to create 1 or 2 more psi before it was released back to the fuel tank?

cheers in advance

It may leak from the spill line connection under the rocker cover and effectively filling your sump with diesel, others will jump in with more experience hopefully.

ok, thankyou for letting me know fellas :)

how about the opposite? if the spring in the original banjo was too warn would there be too low pressure to the injectors?

If the engine was under high load, and because Navaras don't have lift pumps, it could start to starve the pump of fuel if it was returning fuel at a lower pressure.
