Hi all, just wondering if anyone on here has used wheel adaptors before.
Im wondering about the pros and cons.
Any info would be appreciated

As in wheel spacers? If so, dont. Very dangerous and quite illegal. If they bust and you are in an accident, your insurance company will tell you where to go.

As above. Not even worth considering.

Change your rims to different offset if you want a wider stance, but don't use spacers.

Even if you are the victim in an accident, you might find some large obstacles placed in your path because of the unroadworthiness of the vehicle.

Same goes for extended shackles etc. Don't think that just because the spacers are hidden behind the wheel's face they won't be seen or worried about - while it's true on the initial inspection, once the assessors start pulling their "fine tooth comb" out they'll spot it. Let's just say that I've seen actual evidence in support of this and leave it at that.

Yeah, didnt think they would be legal, or the best idea, just having trouble finding sunraysia rims for my ute.
Thanks for the replies guys
