Will a pre 2010 tail gate fit 2010/11 models?

Hey just wondering if anyone knows if a pre 2010 str tailgate(the one with the grooves along it) will fit 2010/11 models as i know the 10/11 models have 100mm longer tub?

Im after the same answer, i'd love to have the tailgate with the grooves along it on my 2011

Me too they look much better just need to know so i can start scrounging around for one.

No one has spoken about width changes so my guess is it would be the way it mounts and the easiest way to sort that would probably be to visit a wrecker and compare the two.

I think they do guys.The width is the same and I'm pretty sure I have seen a new one with a Jap 1 on it.I have seen plenty of d21's with d22 tailgates on them

i reckon the ones with the grrove's look alot more beefier haha looks much better, i put 3 big dents in my tailgate after washing mine with my palm of hand, so hence im keen to get the one with grooves now mine is all dented.

yeah i thought they would fit only downside is now my hardlid wont fit. lol
