will a towbar from a 2004 str fit a 2011 str?

guys im looking at purchasing the towbar off of al on here but both are unsure will it fit with the longer tray? i have fitted a standard rear bar of an 06 model as i damaged mine and it matched straight up no difference at all so will the towbar be the same has anyone fitted an older model towbar to a new model?

This I am interested in to.

Just purchased a 11/2011 Build (Japan Build) D22 and will need to buy a Tow Bar too, second hand looking good when funds are tight, not much use having a boat just sitting in the rear yard on nice sunny days

mate i ended up just trying it and yeh it fits up no dramas at all so yeh any year model d22 rear bar or towbar will fit up fine enjoy the new truck

Thats good to know but I think the standard Nissan tow bar hangs a bit low for my tastes.

I think a rear bar with tow hitch built in is going to be a much better option for what I want.
