Hi all,
couldn't find any info on what im after, so just wondering on the d40's would it be alright to wind up the front torsion bars? Currently sitting at stock height with only a nudge bar at the front and just want to level the car out by raising it around 30mm. Are the down travel effects that bad? and will it effect that car much? Dont really go off road very often at this point. Any info appreciated!

d 40's dont have torsion bars
i think you can add spacers to springs or fit new springs to raise ride height

like stated d40s have coil overs not torsion bars. strut spacers are cheapest but still leave you with the stock suspension which is horrible, best bet is to bite the bullet and upgrade the suspension all round so it doesnt handle like a boat anymore.

Thanks all! My bad, might just upgrade the springs when i get the extra $, dont want the spacers as apparently they are illegal in vic, Cheers
