ZD30 Jerk on throttle lift off.

Hey team,
I did a bit of a search on this topic to no avail.
When I'm accelerating and I lift my foot off the throttle when I'm at my desired speed, I get a jerk. Almost like a surge after the throttle has eased up. I've checked the neutral switch and it functions as it should. Happens in any gear and at any revs, whether I lift my foot fast or slow.
Car is a 03 ZD30 with snorkel and a do chip set to tune 4.

have you tried it with the chip off?

sometimes the jerk is from burning engine oil thats been sucked in via the breather.
i've also had it with blocked up fuel filters.

I haven't tried turning the chip off. Wouldn't know how, truth be told. I should also clarify that this only happens under heavy throttle. From maybe about 2/3 to full. Light throttle openings are ok.
