Hello ..new to posting threads so don't grill me but I've been playing with the idea of fabricating an engine test & run stand and would like to ask the question of why not?? What are the projected problems when it comes to ecu change outs and any other theorised issues that I will run into

If you were reconditioning these motors or using them in a performance arena (off-road competition, for instance) then the investment in making a significantly sturdy stand to hold the quite heavy diesel engine would be quite worthwhile.
