buying a d22 qd32 4x4

I found this forum while i was searching for information on a 1998 nissan navara d22 qd32 4x4 tray that i am thinking of buying to tow a caravan.
I have not had a good look at the car yet as i thought i would do some research first to see if it would be suitabale to tow about 2.300 kg.
I think it might be a bit slow at 75kw and 220nm.
The person who has the car has had it for 10 years.
It had 80k on it when he brought it,it now has 220k.
He has serviced it himself.
He used it on a farm.
For the last year he has been working as a maintenance man.
I think he should be mechanically minded.
Anyway he wants 2 or 3k for it,it looks ok to me.
What do you think?

If its half decent its a pretty good price. I recently chased one on Ebay that sold for 6k with issues. Put a turbo on it (Guys on here have done it for about $500) and you should have a powerfull enough vehicle, that is ultra reliable and pretty capable off road too..

The price is excellent, but for towing your quoted weight, get something with more grunt.
