Deadly's D21 Budget TOY "The Beacon"

This is my '90 D21 I picked up in June this year...real cheap....

This is how I bought it......






Mucking around with the spare set of 33 from my 'Trol....



During the rebuild it had new radiator, windscreen, ball joints, tierod ends, CV boots, front brake rotors & pads, front indicatorsmirrors.........

Painted.....







The seat I'll be putting in from a dual cab Nav.......

Toying with putting this on the TD27 not to far down the track.....



Pretty much done (for raodworthy anyway)......





Modified a Lux ARB winch bar to suit.....


Goes in for roadworthy this Thursday (26th)

The blower would be something a bit different.......................

That is some nice barwork mate, looks really neat and suits the Nav nice.

If someone told me they were going to paint a ute orange and white I would have said they had rocks in their head, but that looks pretty bloody good.

Ahhhh not really The 1 in the back ground is my old '87 2wd, I painted a bout 4 1/2 years ago.

..................once it passes r/w, theres a heap of goodies that will go on.

Grr makes me want to go out and buy an old D21 SC to play with..........

Did any D21's come with solid axles?

Apperently, there was another one near me for sale with a heap of work done, going cheap.

Don't think any came out with solid axels.....mores the pitty, would've really given Lux's a run for there money.

That's impressive.

Good looking truck mate and nice paint scheme too, it will be interesting to see how the supercharger goes, my bro just bought one (supercharger)to put on his 1.6l lada niva.

Picked the supercharger up cheap, it came with a 5lb & 10lb boost pulleys. Was going to put it my GU, but just no room to do it. But there's a nice little space in the Nav, where it'll fit nicely
