Clutch Spring.

G'day. Anyone had a drama with the little sucker in the photo? Fell off my clutch pedal today, looks like the bushes it runs in were shagged so it was making a horrible metal on metal noise. The spring fell out and the pedal still feels normal? In guessing it's a return spring? Anyone had any problems with this before? What was the rectification?

Noisy little bastard. So the clutch works fine with out?? I might rip mine out then lol.

Yeah they are a pain in the arse, no amount of wd40, silicone spray or grease can fix it. Clutch works fine without it and wallah, no noise! The clutch doesn't feel as stiff on the return, probably get used to it though. Time will tell! I doubt you could buy the little bushes that quieten it down. Might enquire at Nissan but I bloody doubt it and they would be a right pain to get in anyway.
