My D40 latch gives me th sh!ts. Have to slam it and hope the soft tourni keeps it closed.

Not that the bonnet latch was an issue for my Nav but I'd rather have the tailgate fall open from a dodgy latch than have the bonnet latch give way.
To me it's just further proof that no company is immune from recalls, atleast more of them are now doing recalls and not trying to ignore them or hope the problems will fix themselves.
