Foot/clutch rest

Anyone know of an after market clutch/foot rest to fit?

I fitted one to my 06' D22, purchased it from Ebay.

Was a Nissan Part (I don't remember the part number) but it fit exactly. Holes already in the floor, I just needed to cut the carpet to put the bolts in. Took 5 minutes to install, I have no idea why they don't come as standard.

From memory the part cost about $40.

fitted it last weekend so its the right number!

Fitting is easy but I needed to cut the carpet a bit

I ordered one six weeks ago, from a dealer... still waiting...

Just got mine and fitted it. There is no footrest with a part number that matches the Thai built, however the available one which is designed to fit the Jap built fits. The bolts go through the side of the footwell and come out next to the gearbox. No washers came with the kit, but for water proofing, I am thinking of sealing with a little smear of selleys roof and gutter sealant. But I'm worried about the heat from the gear box? Is there a special product I should really use?

Try using a high temp silicon.
They are red/orange in colour and would definitely handle the heat from the gearbox.

Guys, long time 4wd'er, new to the Nav forums.
I also did the footrest install on my brand new 2011 Thai built D22 using the part number below. Did it really tidy & looks like it's supposed to be there, no silicone needed, waterproof not like those crappy plugs they come with & also installed the extra grip assist bars. All the parts you need are below & look at the pic, nice & neat:

NI-73940-VJ20A....GRIP ASSIST....$22.88 (each)
NI-01456-00411....SCREW(X2 for each grip)....$1.26(each)(come as 10 pack)
NI-67840-2S400....FOOTREST ASSY....$38.27

Grommets from Bunnings get 5/16x17/32. 4 in pack you only need 2 & these fitin the existing holes. Then all you need is a pair of rubber tap seals & nyloc nuts (M8 from memory) to match the thread on the 2 bolts on the footrest.

Great one guys will look into this addtion. Miss not having one from the subaru. Why the were never fitted from factory i dont know!!
