Boost Guage

Hey guys, I am looking at buying a boost guage and I see some have just a boost reading and some also have the vacuume presure as well. What I am wondering is, will the vacuume part work if connected to a ZD30, or should I just get 1 with the boost readout??

As far as I know only one works at a time. As the gauge has only one input.

a vacuum one is not really needed, tho it can be useful at times. a boost only gauge makes it a little easier to read.
i only got vac/boost because thats all that was easily available in my price range.

Cool, I was not sure if the vacuume part would work on the ZD30, and I assume that they are the same to connect up as they only have 1 hose on the back.

Yeah the vacuum part is almost irrelevant on a diesel, but you get some slight vacuum when coasting and when you air filter is getting clogged.

yeah mate i bought a boost / vacume and the vacume one doesnt even work but bc its a diesel it wont read vacume. just make sure u use gud quality hoses. from my experience it gets really hot and shit hose tend to become brittle and leak.
