The Bridle Track

Has anyone done the Bridle track recently? I will be going up on Sunday and was wondering if anyone had any info re floods in the area, etc.

As far as i know the bridle track is still closed after a rock fall. That info was 2 weeks ago, and its been closed for a couple of months now.

Just to confirm for anyone thinking of heading out there yes it is closed. Massive ass rock fell onto the track and half of the track at that same point has eroded. I dont think it will be fixed for a while.

That's over 2 months ago and it looks exactly the same now. I drove the Navara around the locked gate but couldnt get through there. The water level was way too high to get across the river anyway.

Yep the bridle track looks pretty f@#ked to me and doesn't look like that will be fixed for a while
