Series 2 front guard on Series 1

Gday everyone.

Was wondering is anyone has done this or knows if the Series two front panels and lights will bolt onto the front of a series 1. The look to be the same from the A pillar back. Thought it might be a good way to make my ute look a bit more updated.

They should do, you could even bolt D21 panels on if you wanted to.

You can. One guy was trying to sell one on eBay with the SII panels. He hasn't had much luck.

Hmm was looking at a series 2 today and noticed that the front panels don't look different to me. Is this correct? if so i would imagine that lights and grille would be all that is needed to change the look.
