Nice canopy mate, i wish i had built mine(if i had the skills) i just wanted to pass on a bit of info. The doors on mine rattle a fair bit when offroad, the guy who built it has made the holes for the looks a little bit big and it does get very annoying...there are tags on each door obviously put there to prevent this but doesnt help enough. The other thing is im not sure what sort of canopy you are putting on but if you are having zips ofset them a bit as mine are constantly getting jammed in the doors when you close them... annoying when both your hands are full and the wifes selective hearing is switched on! but like i said it looks real nice

I was wondering if you could get some pics to show me the inside of your latch and how the locking mechanism works into your frame. I've priced the latches at about $20 each...50mmx100mm, Does that sound about right?
:cheers!:

i hope these photos explain a little, i can remove the back plate if i need to. I think they are locks from a system for windows/sliding doors.
You can see the tabs that have been put on the bottom to stop the doors from folding in to far i thought this might be the cause but its definately the locks not holding tight enough i hope the locks you have used will work and get rid of the annoying rattle on those offroad trips:suicide2:
