D22 Manual & exhaust info

I have the D22 Manual (internet download) I think it's only applicable to the YD25 (which I have).

I'm trying to get a breakdown of the exhaust system so I can learn a bit about it, in the manual it refers to the YD25DDTi model a lot, is this what I am after?

I have found this exhaust breakdown but not sure if its applicable?

the ZD30 is the same. sorry can't seam to work out how to take pic of it just yet.

wait, whats the DDTi stand for? Direct Diesel Turbo intercooled? isnt that the same as the common rail turboed and intercooled engine?

also the pic looks similar but not exactly the same as mine.

the front pipe/tube on mine doesnt have those wing things like shown in the pic?

see what i mean about the no wings on the sides of the tube like in the picture? my tube is just round and smooth.

Maybe that is the heat shield?

the pic is of the non common rail 2.5. vertaily the same as the ZD30.
i would suspect the common rail is similar.....its only an exhaust pipe its not really a big deal

looks like yours doesn't have the front heat sheild. that is sometimes a good thing as stones often get stuck in them.

actually after looking through the book, it might just be right as mine is the 2wd model, not 4wd. didnt think they would be that different
