they certainly look the goods, but when i looked into getting one, i was told the charger in it was only a 1.5 amp job, looks fairly simple to set up .the thumper brand packs might be better? cheers geoff

my ST has 24000on it now, cant comment on the clutch problems, mine still seems good, i do a fair bit of beach driving. i have had it back to nissan to have the roof gutters repainted twice, they done a very ordinary job the first time. but they repaired it no questions asked and supplied a loan...

done the egr mod over weekend, very simple, took about ten mins, cant even notice it is in there from the outside, seems to have cut the smoke back quite a bit, highly recomended, will do the computer reset tomorow, see how that goes. cheers geoff

i had mine at nissan on tuesday, they said everything was OK, still blows smoke but, they said they have had heaps come back and its normal for these vehicles, i believe thay have no idea. i have a egr blanking plate to install on the weekend, will see how that goes. cheers geoff

hi, i presume you mean its blowing black diesel smoke, i have a 2010 ST, same as yours, nearly has 15000kms on it, it has blown what i would call excessive black smoke since day 1, nissan has looked at it on each service, reset computer, put injector cleaner through it, still the same problem...

i have a 2010 d40 ST thai built , i bought the tjm bash plates for spanish built d40, they do not bolt straight on but all you have to do is drill 4 new holes in the gearbox/transfer bashplate for the gearbox crossmember, the front plate fits fine. i fitted mine using nutserts so it is easy to...

forgot to mention mine is a manual, it revs through the rev range alright, only does it when i try to hold it steady at 2000rpm. not a huge problem , can just avoid that gear/revs combination.

it does not do it in high range, i cant imagine i would use 4low very often anyway, but i tested it in every other gear, high and low range, and it only does it low range 4th gear 2000rpm. ill get the dealer to look at it next chance i get.

hi all i have a problem with my 2010 ST, when it is in 4th gear low range at about 2000rpm it surges and cannot maintain a steady pace, seems like it is starving for diesel. it onle does it in this gear. Has anyone else had this problem?

I bought the TJM ones for my ST, the front one under the radiator fits fine, but you have to redrill the sump and transfer bash plate, the gearbox crossmember is slightly different. probably better off with one of the other brands, they may bolt straight on.
