I just wrote my 09/04 D22 off with 345??? ks on the clock. Was still getting 10ks per litre. Totally stock. Changed oil every 5ks and it was as clean coming out as going in. Really pissed to say goodbye to it, bought an 09 D22 to replace it.

My 2004 D22 has the alt light come on most cold starts. The output is about 11.69v. A rev up to 1700 puts the light out and the output is about 12.7v at idle. Light very rarely comes on with warm start and never comes back on during running. Basically it is just not putting out enough...

Our R51 2.5CRD Pathie with the DP Chip runs at about 8.4lt/100k and I am pretty sure its just over 2.5 ton so a fair bit heavier than a D40 I would guess. I think it was around 1.5l/100k more than that without the chip. So getting better economy and more power/torque. I don't know anything...
