hi has anyone had problems with D40 auto's getting water in them from raditaor & do you know how much for rebuild ? only done 88000 km 5 years old next week

Don't know if its legal or not but nissan couldn't fix my brakes ,so now after the removal of the valve . brakes work much better loaded & unloaded ,also under tow i no longer have to use van to stop me or and pull handbrake on & pull it back to first gear even in this weather .its much safer...

Ok so its done ,valves off , brake pedal feels better & the truck now stops. Abs has even come alive. I haven't tried putting aload on yet.

Ok so off with the valve it is. I will Give it a go & see what happens ?

I did adjust the valve a while ago in /out changed hight after 2inch lift even got nissan to check it all still only stops on frt. I think that the new Nav's dont have this valve so why do we need it ?

Ok my 08 d40 still only brakes on frt so thinking of pulling out the load valve. Blocking off return line to give the rear brakes full pressure .has anyone done this

6 sets of frt pads & no rear shoes or cylinders i have been telling nissin that my brakes dont work ,spungy ,feels like its only stopping on frt . they changed the fluid & sent me on my way,went back sometime later.samething & peddle creeping down when stoped at lights.thay then changed master...

Hi all my control box got water in it now will not work. Has anyone got a wiring diagram for this . As I'm thinking of retiring it this just solenoids in it and then make it water tight Thanks

Hi anyone tell me how to stop drivers mirror from folding in I am sick of winding down every time a truck goes by Just pulled 1/2 the thing apart and could not find any way to tighten the thing Or get the glass out so pulled on glass it came out but cracked not happy

I did look under the car for missing gromets also took it to nissan and had the AC tube replaced will see what happens I also have frt and rear Rino racks on it that may be letting water get under the door seal ?? Im going to get in while letting hose run on doors to test

Hi my 08 D40 the frt cup holder pulls out then chorme around auto gear selector pulls off frt tray pulls out all just held in with clips

Hi all I went to locksmith to day he said yep can cut spare key with no remote but but when he programed it would not start the car so no charge so went to Nissan and spent $430.00 not happy But what can you do

both sides modle 08 D40 dual cab stx. I looked in side be hind the kickpenals and its wet in there as well I have left the scuff plates off to see if its comming in from around door seals I also climed under & looked around at floor to see if any gromets where missing .

Hi I was doing some work on my D40 and pulled sill moulds up noticed water under them pull back the carpet & underlay is soaking wet . has anyone had this problem ???
