Look at the ARE Cooling intercooler, priced between the two your looking at and with the modifed version much better flow rates, all the info etc on their website. Also excellent people to deal with.

Sorry didn't realize we were talking about queensland laws only! Mine is plated under the ncop and i am allowed 150mm lift total. I have 75mm suspension, 35mm body lift (had approval for 50mm) and 25mm from tyre (50mm dia increase only gives 25mm lift).

i made that comment because i know from experience with suspension lift, body lift and 285's on my navara. it has been engineered, mod plated and lane change tested and is 100% legal and roadworthy, my insurance company has no problem with it at all. with all the mods listed on my policy and...

it can be made legal with a mod plate though.

is that the factory bull bar mount that has a big hole cut in it?

I had mine set up at a small workshop after talking to the alignment guy about my setup and what i wanted and wanted to fix, he had it sorted first go and i doubt it is within nissan spec. Go find a guy that knows how to align a vehicle and not just follow the spec sheet.

on my d22 i run -1.1 passenger side and -0.9 drivers, to stop the camber wear on the outside of the tyres. are those camber figures + or -?

i run 33's (285 75 16) on 16x8 pos 20 rims, 75mm suspension lift, 30mm body lift and have chopped the inner guards right back. i can still make it rub both front and rear when pushed offroad. so with just a 50mm lift i would expect a fair bit or rubbing.

what are you trying to fix? is there a vibration in the driveline? i have 3" lift in mine with no issues at all.

Anyone recommend a good brand of cv/drive shaft assembly that they have had first hand experience with and where to buy from? I dont fancy spending 2k on a set of factory ones or even the indestructible ones from the states at the moment. So what have people had a good run with?

as far as i know to have the uca's road legal you will need to have an engineer sign off on them, or you can hide them with some black paint! i can get a measurement but not until i put the nav back together.

sounds interesting Forefront Industries, any idea on when they will be available and pricing? will know more tonight when i remove mine but i expect i will need one fairly urgently.
