Nissan's inability to properly seal and install a snorkel

Might as well mention it. They might say that it's not supposed to be watertight....

Water leak on drivers side floor?

Thanks ben85. I think you might be right. I took the side steps mounting plate off to have a look, and it's not sealed at all. It's also very rusty on both sides. I might attack it with sealant next weekend. Such a pain though to get the carpet out to dry it.

Water leak on drivers side floor?

I now have the same issue with my 2010 model D22. The driver's side footwell is soaked. I took it back to the dealer and they said they fixed a leak in the air con duct on the passengers side. It then leaked again, so they replaced the door seals, but it's still leaking on the driver's side...

    Scan gauge

Looks like a firmware upgrade is available (for 50 bucks). I'm running 3.17mb version i think. This might possibly explain why the HP may not work. Firmware Details: Ample Outdoors Versions 3.0 to 3.14 - Base ScanGauge features were in place, minor technical changes were made to prepare for...

    Scan gauge

Heap more info here, but note not many of the codes work on the D22 YD25. XGauges for ISO & VPW Vehicles : Linear Logic : Home of the ScanGauge X-Gauge Commands : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge

    Scan gauge

So here's what I did to get HP working. These are the instructions from Ample Outdoors to set KW, but I've changed the MTH value from 000A00300000 to 000A00240000. I got this from some other list of codes which I'll post up in a min. • Start from the HOME screen, press MORE>MORE>MORE>XGAUGE •...

    Scan gauge

I cant remember exactly what I did to get it to work. I do remember there were 2 ways to set it up and one didnt work for me as it gives incorrect readings. I'll have a look for my instructions\codes and post them in this thread soon.

    Scan gauge

As I'm a pom, I have it set to Horse Power. I think the max figure I've managed to get it to hit was 122HP at around 4,000 rpm. I'll double check next time I go out in it and also get the KW readings for you. I think the D22 YD25 engine has max 98KW which (according to google) equates to 131HP...

    Query Door Rattle

Nissan fixed my clunking doors. Apparently both front doors were loose and is a common problem with new Navs.

    Stop seat belt alarm

I think it was a red and a black wire in a loose black plastic covering. It's a white connector that I detached. I dont remember seeing a yellow wire, but I could be wrong.

    Stop seat belt alarm

Yeah, that's sort of what I've been doing, but it makes it awkward to put the belt back on when I get back on the public roads or whenever I feel I should have it... The under-seat wire disconnection has worked a treat by saving my ears from the constant noise. If only I could do the same to my...

    Stop seat belt alarm

I live on a farm and often drive slowly in the field without a seat belt as i need to get out every few meters to check on the crops etc. I wanted to stop the buzzer\alarm that goes off when no seat belt is on so I disconnected the wires under the drivers seat. Anyone know if these wires do...
