Oil found in radiator and missing coolant

i would keep an eye on it still, i know when i was chasing a head for my zd30, it took 4 gos before i found one that wasnt cracked, and it was still warped, no 4 cyl seems to be the culprit. mine was cracked down the valve stem on the exhaust side exhaust valve, and the other in a similar area.

new to forum and a handling question

I'd say tyres, I had some cooper AT's on mine (never again) and in the wet / damp i could 4th gear powerslide at over 80km/hr up off ramps or on slight bends in the road, often unwanted slides, even off the power (very dangerous). Same as you say less fuel in the tank the worse is was, in the...

Front recovery points or potential flying bullbar?

Yeh pretty well, that chart shows the factor that you reduce a slings capacity, so you do the opposite to would out what you are putting on it... Ask any rigger / dogman, the bigger your angle in a sling the less load you can lift, all due to bending moments and addition of moments, engineering...

Front recovery points or potential flying bullbar?

gotta be carefull using equaliser straps. Dependant on the length of them as if the included angle increases the amount your strap can handle decresses, and the load on the tow points increases. It 's the same in rigging. Have a look at this... Rigging With Slings: Basic hitches, Working Load...

    Tyre pressure

I run 42 psi front and rear in my coppers, and get very even wear across the tyre, maybee 40 or 38 in rear if no load. Most places pump them up too hard because the average joe wont check his tyres between services. If you walked around a shopping center i guarantee 70% or cars would have some...

I've used those bullbar mount things to pull heaps, i had my mate pulling me by them while i was pulling another car out. We have had well over 4t on just one of them and no worries at all, nothing has moves, I try to use and equaliser strap when i can over both of em. If you put hooks under the...
