Bridgestone dueler d697 slippery and noisy?

I find the D697s pretty quiet, no whining or anything at speed on the road. The grip is good for what I do, but they are bad at collecting rocks between the tread blocks.

    V6 owners...

The v6 is pretty good, but as mentioned can be a little thirsty. But a couple of things like the Toyota air box/ snorkel mod plus a better exhaust system all help. The V6 exhaust manifold is a little restrictive. Beaudesert Exhausts have a good system they can fit (around $1500.00), and I...

    painting rims

Slightly different rims Macka, but I did my ST-R rims a couple of years back. They are still looking good, only a couple of small chips so far. Here's the link- http://www.navara.asia/showthread.php?t=17131 Hoo Roo

    2013 Muster pics thread

Nice Guys'N'Gals, bloody nice.! I knew I would kick myself for missing this outing, but after seeing all of the photos and good times that seemed to be had by all, I will NOT be missing the next one. Pity the Condamine looked really low, the last time we went across it was a raging torrent, lol.

    D22 aluminium drawer system guide

That aluminium tube is very strong, good choice for a drawer system. We used it recently to make some double bunk frames in the caravan, some thick plywood as a base and it doesn't move a millimeter. Can't wait to see these finished.

2000 D22 Adding rear door speakers

This may help, I've put a few pics on this page, and I basically made up a couple of thin MDF mounts to cover the weird shaped hole ( which is where the ashtray sits in the rear 2004 doors) and put the speakers through that. http://www.navara.asia/showthread.php?t=4987&page=2

    D22 3.3L Exhaust Upgrade

I'll say, it doesn't happen often, lol. Oh and yeah, around 450kms to the tank. Thats the reason I stuck with standard size tyres, didn't want to get even LESS mileage out of this gas guzzler. I had 275/70/16 Pirellis on before these Bridgestones, and I was lucky to get 400km per tank...

    D22 3.3L Exhaust Upgrade

I did check with Beaudesert Exhausts and they said it will be a bugger of a job, mainly if the headers are being replaced. They said that in itself takes around a day. I was quoted around $1500.00 for a full system including Wildcat headers to suit the VG33E. One other exhaust place at Browns...

    Shopping at Bunnings

That is excellent! LOL!!!! HOWEVER, about 4 months ago that really did happen to me in Hervey Bay. Went to the Thai restaurant that night, had extra hot chilli laden everything, soup/mains etc. The soup was so hot my mouth was burning, I was sweating everywhere, and couldn't really talk...

v6 snorkel attempt - need advice

Yep, still around Bryce, still haven't got the snorkel. Spending whatever spare money we have for a while now on my road bike and fixing/replacing appliances at home, poor ol Nav is somewhat neglected these days.

Fitting Body Lift to D22: Brisbane

Some people swear by Ironman, others swear at it, :rofl2:, but the EFS gear really is that much better. Also, ask Zordo anyway, he will always give you an honest answer, and then go from there.

Aldi Stores 4x4 sale this weekend

LoL, I'll give it a miss. Just checked some pricing between Dan Murphys and Aldi on some Johnnie Walker, and it looks like Dan Murphys is a bit cheaper in a lot of cases.
