Hey mate, no the bar doesnt need to come off. I removed the alternator from the engine, but I think other guys that have changed the pulley have done it in position.

Just be careful you are buying the correct pulley, there is 2 types of pulleys used and they have a different off set.

Hey Oddkid82, when I did mine I slide an Allen key, through one of the holes in the in the front of the Alt housing to stop the rotor turning. I made sure that the Allen key was hitting against a solid part of the rotor. Keep away from fragile looking parts, be gentle with it and you should be...

Ok guys so my awning turned up, and im pretty happy with it. The quailty looks the same as my brothers TJM awning. The storage bag is alittle differant to the ARB or TJM, its abit more tight fitting and squarer in design. Also the feet on the legs don't have a spike on them, like other brands...

Hey, I have my second battery mounted under the tub, in a cradle i made up myself. The battery is an absorbed glass matt type and its fully sealed. Been in for about 2 years now never had any problems with it. Cheers Glenn
