I got the same amount of k's on my 2.5 d22 and I just lift my foot off the clutch and it idles up any incline no problem. But I do agree you need to drive it a little different to other 4wd, it's definently different to the 4.2 cruiser I used to have.

One of the wreckers near me had a few d21's, it's in chipping norton, it had an 08 d22 that I got the factory towbar off for 80 buck haha. I can't remember what the wreckers is called but it's not the one near arb.
