    New alternator not charging

It has the standard, I'll swap them and give it a try. I thought the clutch type might be a better option.

    New alternator not charging

I just bought a trump auto alternator from eBay. It's a 100 amp clutch pulley type. There doesn't appear to be any output, 12 volts and doesn't change when increasing rpm's. The original 60 amp works fine charging at 14+ volts. It is a non clutch pulley type. Would there be any reason why the...

    eBay alternator update

I bought a 'thehan13' 100 amp alternator on eBay less than 2 years ago and it has now died. Got really hot, burning smell and voltage drop. Put the original back in for now and no problems. These are a bit dearer now too so watch out.

    Recall Notice

I rang my dealer a couple of months ago after I heard about it. They told me the vin numbers hadn't been published yet although they were already on the accc website. They said they didn't have parts yet anyway so still waiting. At least they rang you. It's a faulty air bag that might put a hole...

    d22 intercooler

I like this idea. Was a bit worried about using silicon on the first bend due to original poster having problems with this one splitting.

    d22 intercooler

I'm considering the top mount intercooler as per original post. I'm thinking of using cast aluminium for the bends with silicon joiners. Can anyone foresee any issues with this such as having enough space? I have bought the micro intercooler from just jap.

    Zd30 alternator replacement

I've had a 100 amp from eBay for a while, still going good. Didn't get the one with the clutch pulley as original didn't have it.

    Intake Hoses.

At that price it would be worth getting a spare set. Still so much cheaper than Nissan. I only got one set because I wasn't sure of the quality.

    Intake Hoses.

I got mine from siliconedirect.com.au. I wasn't sure of sizes so I got a 45mm, 51mm and a 63mm. I can't remember which 2 fitted but the total cost including postage was about $35. This was about 6 months ago and I've had no issues with them.

DIY Rear Drum Brake Shoe Replacement

I just replaced a wheel cylinder and decided to do the shoes as well. The bendix shoe have a different diameter pin and I can't fit the anti reverse thing on without modifying it. I just put the old shoes back on for now. I checked the bendix website to make sure I have the correct shoes and I...

    New rear bar from Ironman.

Sales will be a bit slow until the car starts to sell. You'd think they'd make them for current models as it is an after market part. I like it but not much room for the number plate.

Drawers, fridge slide and roof console

I didn't mate sorry. I just did a search of commercially made and home made ones and tried to copy them. You have to be very precise with the measurements to make it work and I had to design it around fridge size and the height of my drawers and canopy. I can see why they can get away with...
