i got 33" maxxis buckshots they have not worn down too badly on the road so far and they handle very well offroad, for the price you pay for them, not too noisy and all in all great value for money

sorry bout the late reply guys computer wasnt working all too well, i went and got my car serviced they found water in the petrol tank....they emptied the tank and the car is running fairly fine now. i have hto place the original tires back on, although the rain has stopped me from actually...

hey tony yeah it has been a while. the car in 2wd feels slow as well not the same power as before. in 4wd before i got the muddies the car got up the same hill in h4 now it wont even make it in that. I had to lower it down to 4L. oh and tony i wasnt turning it was a simple climb up a rocky hill...

i have a 2009 2.5L d22 and i recently installed a 2" lift and put 33" muddies on the car. i took it out for a drive today and when i put the car in 4 high, it is very slow and has no power what so ever. this also happenes in 4 low. I thaught this might be related to the diff? and gear ratios...

dont bother getting same tire and rim size i just got 16x8 with a set of maxxis buckshots and the dont stick out way past my flares and they look nice and mean. i got mine for 400 dollars tire and rim for each corner

i just got the tjm 2" lift kit and i really got 3" outta it once they winded the torsion bars up slightly. my leaf spring dont kink up in the middle though. but the 2" is plenty, and can get u pretty much anywere

does a body lift void your insurance????, because on the new hiluxes a body lift can be installed without a engeneering cert. can we also do the same? or do we have to get it certified?

and the grinding noise at full lock is the stoppers hitting, the metal stopper plate. just grease them up and u should be sweet

yeah the dp chip is a 100% going on and i can get a intercooler and exhaust package pretty cheap 1,500 so all in all its ok, best chip though? i want one which will provide maximum power but i dont want to lose fuel efficiencey

i dont really want body lift i have never seen the point of it? but i think im going to go to tjm and just get the best of the best the last thing i want is to spend big bucks only to have the suspension not perform to a high standard. a body lift does sound good though bigger tires is always better
