has anyone done any damage to their gearbox that wasn't the clutch? Mine went bang the other day found some shrapnel in the oil. took it to mech. who is getting prices on replacement boxes. It's wanting to grab some gears but not others but as soon as u put any force on it it grinds bangs clangs...

I might have missed something. but your straight through exhaust - did you do that yourself? I have 2 1/2 cat back but am looking at taking the dump off and doing myself. looks tight up in there though

nah all pathfinders are Spanish. mine just looks very rough on the outside and the same on the inside. not nice smooth finish.

yeah mate sounds like the one. the first pipe directly off the top of the turbo. if it's stock, it should be flared out from bottom to top about 1.5inch to 2inch sort of thing. I have seen 1 non standard 1 and I thought yours was the second but guess not lol

gday awsome read. the pipe and flange on the up side of the turbo (very begining of the intercooler piping) what is that pipe after market ? im looking for 1 but dont know where to find it...

no well Im not sure if this will be different for the Navs from the Pathfinders but the Nuline Pully that supplied doesnt have the hex female end to tighten it onto the alternator with. it is a 33tooth spline drive. The only thing precission parts forgot to mention in our conversation. so I did...

yes was a 17mm hex bit that was needed to remove the original pully. only thing i was missing was the fitting piece for the new nuline pully... and no where local had the 33t spline and it is the only downfall of pressions customer service as far as im concerned would have been nice for him just...

help what is the size of the bit needed to fit into the pully? I see it's a hex head. I'm going to be trying to do it in situ so its hard to measure looking for someone thats had to do that already :)

Don't hate me I'm in my phone n searching had gotten me no where but frustrated. Can someone plainly say what the biggest size is on the standard 17 inch rim with no lift

just local exhaust shop nothing fancy. Yeah I've spoken to them since and the cat is in the dump pipe hence why you cant see it. lol. so to upgrade you really need to upgrade the dump pipe including a hiflo cat or I guess just straight through if you are that way inclined..

Gday all, I got a cat back 2.5 inch exhaust done on my car last year. Now I'm no complete dummy but where is the cat... I havnt been right up to the turbo but looking from underneath from what I can tell (and online "full system" photos inc cat) from the turbo it goes dump pipe to the triangle...

looks like it's pointless, sound's like it's pointless... it might just have to go...I wasn't going to the extreme of solid piping too much hassel with bends etc. I'm just going with silicon hose. might remove that metal peice and see if I can manipulate a straight piece of hose from both ends...
