gee some of you guys are getting really good deals , back in 2006 it was a seller`s market with used STR `s rare to find ,ppl just weren`t getting rid of them.

i done this as well for the plugs with play in them but i doubled some 1mm copper shim off a roll i had. I couldn`t believe how tight the plugs were.

get some good rubber and these will hold the gravel roads nicely without using 4wd , I`ve got cooper atr`s and these grip the gravel road firmly and gives me a really safe feeling.

I used VMX-80 on the gearbox and VMX-M on the transfer case . have a feeling that VMX-80 may be too heavy as my gear changes seem a little harder,tighter fit ,anyone have advice or experience with this ?

The standard height for the front on mine is 730 mm what i understand is the torsion bar should only be adjusted maybe 20mm .Anyway I`ve also fitted springs with a 2' lift and i get 790 mm on the rear.got it booked in for a adjustment now so will still have bit of a rake ,if I bring the front up...

dave do you have copy of d22 original specs ?

i`ve made a booking at belmont tyrepower will cost $137.50 will involve the alignment and tyre rotation plus wheel balancing and a torsion bar lift .

Ive got nissan jack and accessories bag ,tool spanner pouch,socket set ,compressor,recoverary bag, fishing knife set ,block of wood for jack and tyre lever at the moment . need to get a fire extinguisher ,any ideas what size ?also the first aid kit and a new roll of duct tape:
