broke diff looking for r200 diff with 3.9 ratio

hey guys, just a thought but if you truely want an r200 in a 3.9 ratio, you'll need the r200a housing, then buy yourself an r200 diff from a 180sx with the sr20det AUTO, then just swap the internals over into the r200a housing..... hope this helps :)

    diff overhaul job grows

@xtturbo, yeah they were on all 4wd models but seeing as mine is an 06 and has done 160k's it's no longer tight enough and makes for crappy handling on the road and is useless offroad, only time it will spin both wheels is when it's wet or muddy, even then if you turn a tight enough turn it will...

    diff overhaul job grows

hey scotty, lucky for you, you have an r200 already in the front of yours, so there is a million different aftermarket lsd's out there to fit, kaaz, cusco, those sort of brands, remember, your front diff is the same as basicly every single irs nissan/datsan since the 70's..... you can usually...

    Handbrakes got me stumped

to be honest, i think your asking too much of the handbrake to hold not only the nav but your boat aswell on an incline, what you could try though is chamfering the edges of the shoes a little bit, sometimes they will only really grab the forward and trailing edges of the shoe and not be using...

Standard batteries and Warn winch fitting

also, you can rotate the gearbox 90* so you can have the clutch sitting where you need to,unsure how it is on the warn but usually its just 4 bolts and maybe a snap ring, then the whole lot turns wherever you need it and you put the bolts back in..... and away you go! :)

thats cool dude, as i said, i'll try to find my list of parts that i needed and i'll post it up when i can, as to perfomance, it added a little bit, normal driving you dont really notice it, not like how you feel the kick after adding a chip, however it still has added something, there's a hill...

    Intercooler

i should add, reason for me going the water to air route was simple, i wanted something with short piping for minimal turbo lag, as well as wanting the space for any extra items i might put in at a later date, winch or 80series air box for example, plus for me electrics is pretty easy being a...

    Intercooler

i think the reason not many people do this sort of stuff is that for alot of people, a nav is just something to tow with or load stuff in the back, they dont want better power or anything like that, and for the kits that are out there its crazily expencive, it kinda pisses me off that you can go...

    Toyota's 1KDFTE.

haha tell me about it, i actually work for a toymotor dealer, if it's not injectors going its the pump, if its not that its the stepper motor for the turbo, or a water pump...... that said its not just the 1kd that is the problem, the 1vd does the same thing.... only there are 8 injectors...

    Intercooler

hey guys, if you are looking for a way to tap into for your boost sensor, have a look at frozenboost.com, they have an inlet pipe with three connections, all you do is cut a bit of silicone hose to fit it into your intake and connect your vacuum hose and away you go! the other two fittings you...

    Fitting a bigger turbo

hi mate, if your after just a bit more power, just get a chip, by far the quickest, easiest and cheapest way of getting that bit extra, i myseld have added a 2 1/2 in turbo back exhaust, water to air intercooler and a chip, the thing that gave me the most bang for my buck was the chip, really...

    Fitting a bigger turbo

hey mate, i'm in the same boat, i've done every other bolt on engine mod out there for our utes, but interested in getting that little bit more out of it, i remember someone saying that a garret turbo from the rd28 powered patrol might be a straight fitup, can anyone else shed any light on this...

    d22 sub help

the standard head unit won't have one, you could connect it to any number of switchable power in the car though, your cig lighter, or acc for the radio (you'll have constant power, switchable power, and ground) which are the easiest to use, just piggy back off of it, as already mentioned, a...

    d22 sub help

hi mate, it is possible, what you need is a line out connector, basicly converts the normal speaker lines on the back of the head unit to rca's, which you then plug into your amp and then sub/speakers..... jb or any good car audio store will have them, just ask for a line out connector! hope...
